Funding, Incentives, and Development Charges
Current ADU Grants, Loans, Rebates, and Public Programs
How to check public ADU assistance by location, administrator, eligibility, benefit, and current program status.
Rulebook topic
Find public ADU assistance, program conditions, fee relief, lender policies, and location-specific development or utility charges.
Public assistance can reduce some project costs, while development and utility charges can add costs beyond an ordinary permit fee. Both depend on the location, project type, timing, and program or authority rules.
These guides answer narrower questions about one place, program, or charge. They describe the published terms and point out where intake, funds, parcel eligibility, or a current fee calculation still needs confirmation.
Confirm that the property is inside the administering authority, that the project and applicant meet the current eligibility rules, and that intake and funding remain open. A charge schedule may depend on the parcel, unit count, service configuration, application date, or an approved exemption or deferral. Neither a program nor a financing policy establishes zoning permission, building-code compliance, utility capacity, or occupancy approval.
